Protection of Personal Information
The Protection of Personal Information Act (POPI Act) came into effect on 1 July 2021. The POPI Act seeks to regulate the collection and processing of personal information by private or public bodies in order to protect the constitutional right to privacy.
JLDA Roofing (Pty) Ltd undertakes to handle all clients’ personal information in line with the requirements of the POPI Act.
JLDA Roofing (Pty) Ltd will:
- Not share clients’ information with third parties.
- Keep and use personal information only for the purpose for which it was collected.
- Destroy personal information once it has been used for the purpose for which it was collected.
JLDA Roofing (Pty) Ltd maintains transparency with clients and business partners in order to serve them in their best interests.
